Hey, I'm Amanda! I love Bioware games and I write a fair of fanfiction about them, mainly Dragon Age & Mass Effect. Other inklings may be comics, science, photography, and fangirlish delights that I'm probably too old for but love anyway. I didn't think your post was dismissive at all, and I completely understand where you're coming from. As a fandom, we cling (too much) to certain elements that "belong" to characters and yes, it gets old. You're not wrong. My two cents. :)
